NEW YORK (WABC) – As the 10-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy approaches this week, Eyewitness News held a town hall to remember and reflect a decade on.

At Hofstra University, we hosted a lively panel discussion on the science behind the storm, continuing recovery efforts, mental health, and more.

We also discussed the most important lessons and takeaways from the storm and how families can prepare for hurricanes and storms in the future.

And on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m., don’t miss our 30-minute special from the hardest-hit areas and how they’ve bounced back stronger and better.
