An 11-year-old boy had to have his finger amputated after he was seriously injured while running away from school bullies. According to Chantal Bailey’s mother, her son Rahim Bailey has experienced racial and physical violence since he started attending Abertillery’s training community Wales. He desperately tried to run away from the hooligans, jumping over the fence, but his finger caught, breaking in two.

“Rahim was attacked and beaten by a group of children at the school. He was pushed to the ground and then kicked several times, ”Chantal said in a recent Instagram post. “As a result, Rahim made a desperate attempt to leave the school grounds to avoid the situation. I received a phone call from Rahim and then from the school and informed me of the incident. “

Officers allegedly told Chantal that an ambulance would not arrive for two hours, so they were taken by school bus to the “minor injuries department” despite Rahim being seriously injured. Despite six hours of surgery to save Rahim’s finger, he unfortunately had to be amputated.

According to The Independent Law enforcement agencies have confirmed that they are investigating the incident. A Welsh government spokesman said: “We condemn bullying and racial harassment in any form and expect that allegations and cases of bullying and racism will be fully investigated by schools with appropriate action taken to address this issue and prevent further cases.”
