NEW YORK (WABC) – A cult store in New York is applying to open a casino.

According to the New York Times, Saks Fifth Avenue says it will convert the top three floors of its flagship store into a casino.

That project will encompass about 200,000 square feet of luxury department store, according to the New York Times.

This comes after the state recently opened the application process for three licenses to open casinos in the center of the state.

There are several suggested locations such as Times Square, Hudson Yards and the area around Citi Field.
