(WTXL) — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said Thursday that a climate pattern has formed that is affecting global weather.

NOAA said El Niño conditions developed as an atmospheric response to a warmer-than-average tropical Pacific sea surface began over the past month.
