Collier County MPs responded to what they call an incident on the road that occurred on Wednesday after 3 p.m.
Deputies say the incident took place on the north ramp of I-75 from Immokalee Road. They said they seem to have fired a pistol.
Collier County MPs and the Florida Road Patrol are conducting an investigation.
The CCSO said all lanes have reopened.
