The Try Guys break down their takedown decision Ned Fulmer from the team … after he confessed to cheating on his wife with one of the group’s producers.
Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeldand Eugene Lee Yang uploaded an explainer video on Monday, simply calling it “what happened.” The trio say they contacted Ned and the producer after they were seen kissing in public.
The guys aren’t using the producer’s name here, but Ned confirmed that it is Alex herring … and even admitted that their relationship has been going on for a while.
Keith says the team had no idea what was going on behind the scenes – adding that they were as shocked as everyone else when they heard the news.
The team quickly began working with multiple legal and human resources staff to ensure that each step of the process was followed. Eugene speaks directly – they did not intend to cover up this incident.
Ned’s has since been edited out of recent videos and merchandise – they even had to cut out some videos that couldn’t be salvaged, probably because they featured a lot of Ned. Still, they’re moving forward with a new season of their Food Network show “No Recipe Road Trip” … and say they’ve made major edits to remove Ned.
It is unclear what Alex’s status is in the company after the scandal.
As we reported, Ned and his wife Ariel it seems hashing things after its termination …they were spotted picking up their kids together last week – both still wearing their wedding rings.
As Ariel said, they’re “working to fix it.”
