“There are a lot of big names here today. One of my favorites is Ron DeSantis, ”he began.
“Oh dude, I’m really surprised he found the time.
“You know he was so busy trying to outwit Trump in 2024. I see you, Ron. I see you, player.
“Yes, I saw what you were doing by accusing Trump of blocking, moving away from the vaccines that Trump created with his own hands.”
He then launched a caricature of the former president taking credit for the Covid-19 vaccine when the crowd laughed.
“No one knew how to make vaccines until I made them. Beautiful, beautiful vaccines. Nobody knew how, not even Foci, ”he said.
Returning to the Governor of Florida, Mr. Noah told the audience how he was “quiet,” not confirming whether he had been vaccinated, in an attempt not to lose some right-wing voters.
Mr DeSantis ’office previously reported that he received a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the spring of 2021, but declined to confirm that he had been given an additional vaccine.
The CDC recommends that people receive a booster two months after receiving the J&J vaccine.
“But Ron, Ron is playing modestly,” Mr. Noah scoffed.
“He wouldn’t even tell people when he got the booster.
“Or, as they say in Florida, don’t ask, don’t say, I’m right?” he jokingly referred to the “Don’t Tell Gays” bill, which Mr. DeSantis signed in March, banning discussions of sexual orientation or gender identity in schools across the state.

He said Mr DeSantis was “one step ahead”, a mockery of Florida’s rejection of dozens of math textbooks from the school curriculum, arguing that they include what it describes as “forbidden topics” such as critical race theory (CRT) or socio-emotional learning (SEL).
“Because, you see, Trump said he won the election, but everyone could just look at the numbers and see that he was wrong,” he said.
“So Ron DeSantis is one step ahead. First you ban math textbooks, and then no one knows how to count voices. Boom, my man! ”
