Meet the Press host reveals ‘most influential person’ defining 2024 election

A federal judge in Florida sanctioned Donald Trump and nearly $1 million to his attorney for suing the former secretary of state Hillary Clinton for claims that she and others rigged the 2016 presidential election.

“This case should never have been brought,” Judge John Middlebrooks of the Southern District of Florida wrote in his order. “Its inadequacy as a legal claim was apparent from the outset.”

Judge Middlebrooks said the sanctions were justified because the former president had demonstrated a “pattern” of abusing the courts for his own political purposes. “Designed for political purposes, none of the counts in the Amended Complaint contained a cognizable legal claim,” he wrote.

The judge ruled that Mr. Trump and his lawyer, Alina Haba, would be jointly and severally liable for the $937,989 in sanctions.

Meanwhile, the former president reacted angrily to the failure Supreme Court identify the source Roe v. Wade decision leak that caused outrage last year.

He shockingly called for the Politico reporter, publisher and editor who broke the story to be jailed in an attempt to force them to identify the source of the leak.

Trump calls for Roe v. Wade leak reporter to be arrested after Supreme Court fails to find source

Former President Donald Trump has reacted angrily to the Supreme Court’s failure to identify the source of the leaked Roe v. Wade decision that sparked outrage last year.

He shockingly called for the reporter, publisher and editor who broke the story to be jailed in an attempt to force them to identify the source.

Mr Trump wrote on Truth Social:

The Supreme Court just announced that it can’t figure out, even with our FBI “crack,” who leaked the R v. Wade scandal. They will never know and it is important that they do. So, go up to the reporter and ask him/her who it was. If they don’t answer, put anyone in jail until you get an answer. You can add the publisher and editor to the list. Stop playing games, this leak cannot be allowed. It won’t be long before the name of this slime is known!

He added in a separate message:

Arrest a journalist, publisher, editor – you’ll get an answer quickly. Stop playing and wasting time!
