CCC Cross Country Championships:Satellite, Rockledge, Viera split titles
Trailing by a field goal late in the third quarter, the Bears capitalized on a fumble by quarterback Brock Eden deep in Satellite territory. The fumble gave Bayside a first-and-goal at the 10, and after a quarter-and-end change, David Francis scored on a 2-yard fourth-and-goal.
Bayside got an interception near midfield moments later, but couldn’t move the ball and turned it over for a punt at its own 42.
