PLAINVIEW, Long Island (WABC) — Nassau County officials announced Tuesday that they arrested a woman and seized $40,000,000 worth of counterfeit goods.

Lindsay Castelli, 31, was arrested on Oct. 7 on charges of trademark forgery.

Police said they began an investigation in April 2021 at Linny’s Boutique at 1032 Old Country Road.

They say Castelli was the sole owner of the store, which stocked thousands of counterfeit counterfeit labels as well as clothing and jewelry.

During a search warrant on Oct. 4, detectives found 22 printing presses and various counterfeit products bearing Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Dior, Ugg and Louis Vuitton labels.

They say the total value was over $40,000,000 and the items were shipped all over the United States.

Castelli turned herself in to a Nassau County asset forfeiture detective on Oct. 7. She was released on an appearance ticket and ordered to appear in court on November 2.
