A Colorado Springs, Colo., woman has been charged with multiple felonies after she was accused of taping, cutting and strangling a man she met on Tinder, according to police.

Lauren Marie Dooley, 22, met the victim on Tinder and they arranged for him to go to her apartment on Sept. 28, according to an affidavit obtained by WKRC and Law and crime. McClatchy News has reached out to the Colorado Springs Police Department for a copy of the affidavit.

Colorado Springs Police Department officers were dispatched to E Cache La Poudre Street outside of Colorado Springs after reports of an “unknown call for service,” according to the document.

The 911 operator heard the man, later identified as the victim, say on the open line that he was bleeding and told someone “because you cut me” and “you’re going to kill me,” according to the affidavit.

According to the document, Dooley and the victim had sex on the couch before she began taping his wrists and ankles together. He “found it strange, but agreed.”

Dooley then retrieved a knife from the kitchen and told the victim to go to his room, the document states. He no longer wanted to be in the residence.

“Afraid (Dooley) would hurt him with the knife, he obeyed and got into her bed. (Dooley) climbed on top of him and cut his left shoulder with a knife,” the affidavit said.

According to the document, she was pressing on his throat, making it difficult for him to breathe. She then took out a belt, tied it around her neck and applied pressure for 20 seconds, police said.

After the victim began bleeding on Dooley’s bed, she demanded he go to the bathroom, the document states. She ordered food from DoorDash and told him, “If you scream or say anything, I’m going to kill you.”

After Dooley finished eating, she fell asleep and the victim was able to retrieve the knife and free herself from the duct tape, the affidavit states. As he tried to leave, he woke Dooley up by bumping into a table and ran into the parking lot to try to get help.

After officials arrived at the scene, they saw a naked male victim in the parking lot, bleeding from a cut on his left hand and backing away from Dooley, the document said. Officials saw blood on her hands and arms.

“There was a victim conducted against their will more than 5 hours,” the police report.

Dooley is charged with second-degree kidnapping, menacing, false imprisonment and two counts of second-degree assault, according to the affidavit.

According to Law & Crime, Dooley was scheduled to appear in court on October 6.
