HADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — One person was killed in a crash Thursday morning on County Road 268 east of Glen Julia Road in Gadsden County.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, at 9:14 a.m., a pickup truck driven by a 38-year-old Bainbridge, Georgia man was westbound on County Road 268 towing a tandem trailer.
A sedan driven by a 36-year-old Gretna woman was traveling eastbound on County Road 268.
The FHP report states that for an unknown reason, a second farm trailer detached from the tow truck and crossed into the eastbound lane in the path of the sedan. The detached trailer struck the front of the sedan, the report said.
The report notes that the woman who was driving the sedan was killed.
