The shocking video shows Draymond Green attack hard Jordan Pooleviciously punching him to the ground right in the middle of a team drill … video obtained TMZ Sports.
It’s obvious that Greene and Poole have beef … you see them talking to each other and then it gets physical. Green walks up to Poole and gets in his face. Poole pushes Green away with two hands to the chest. Green, who stands 6’6″ and weighs 230 pounds, responds with a vicious right cross to the face … so vicious that it knocks Poole to the ground and possibly knocks him down.
Green then stands over Poole as teammates and coaches rush to pull him away. Poole seems to have been fine because he continued to practice hitting the court.
Warriors GM Bob Myers later appeared to downplay the incident, saying, “These things happen. Nobody likes it. We don’t condone it, but it happens.” He goes on to say, “Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room … as far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we’ll deal with that internally.”
As for the reason for the fight, Stephen Curry denied a report claiming Poole’s attitude had changed amid the contract talks leading up to it … calling it “absolute BS”.
