Ryan Reynolds despises his former countrymen Or Jay Millp – at least according to TJ Miller… who gives the guy even more reason to dislike him after those racy remarks.
The former Deadpool star spoke on The Adam Corolla Show where he partially revealed the reason he believes he might not be in the upcoming sequel (aka Deadpool 3) and, in his eyes, it’s all connected with RR somehow hating him inside.
He told a story in which he claims that Ryan scolded him while filming a scene in one of the first 2 movies. He says that Ryan, playing Wade/Deadpool, improvised some very mean lines by addressing him in character as Weasel … but TJM thinks he was really just acting under the guise of acting to get a few shots at him personally.
Miller says that Ryan, as Deadpool, told him/Weasley that no one liked him and that he wasn’t funny … and that he only served as temporary comedic relief that didn’t matter to anyone (including the audience) .. .mostly the call is unnecessary to “Deadpool” as a whole.
It was a pretty awkward exchange, so says TJ – who claims the crew were just as stunned by the showdown on set, which felt very real. Since then, he says, his relationship with Ryan has soured — and obviously with the studio, since he won’t be involved in “DP3.”
But the way TJ is framing it here … he makes it seem like he’s the one who wants nothing to do with Ryan — says he’ll never work with him again while still openly wondering why he doesn’t like him so much . .. and going further, assuming RR was jealous/insecure.
TJ has a lot to say about what he sees as Ryan’s character flaws … especially when he became incredibly more famous with the Deadpool gig. He even makes some remarks about Blake Lively and their image — or “brand,” as he and his friends call it — as a couple.
It’s worth noting … right around the time of Deadpool 2’s release, Miller was dealing with very serious sexual misconduct allegations, which he denied. Still, you have to imagine it might have played a role in Rye and/or studio executives weighing his future involvement.
It’s hard to keep your mouth shut about it. ⚔️ pic.twitter.com/OdV7JmAkEu

While TJ is obviously out of the franchise … with much fanfare, a new face has arrived. Hugh Jackman, of all people, is reprising her role as Wolverine – which we’re sure will please fans after Weasley’s absence. It seems there is no love lost here. 🤷🏽♂️
