Showcasing the finesse of her voice — with a hint of Ariana Grande — the 21-year-old singer from Texas landed a coveted 4-chair spot on “The Voice” on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The legend first turned his chair around for Bell, then complimented the Texan on her low-key performance.

“A lot of times we get singers on the show with these big, beautiful voices and they do really well, but we also have singers who are much more subtle as well,” he said. “You have so much control, your tone is so beautiful.”

Stefani said it’s rare for a singer to show off as many sides of his voice as Bella did.

“You’ve been able to soften your voice and really listen to the text of what you’re saying, which is also rare for someone so young,” Stephanie Bella said.

Shelton also called her voice “magical,” asking Bell to join his team despite having no pop music.

But Bella, who recently moved to Lacey, Washington, ultimately chose Cabello, who said she heard “a little bit of Ariana (Grande)” in Bell’s sound.

“Her voice was truly angelic,” Cabello later said.
