Angelina Jolie details for the first time about what allegedly happened on a 2016 plane ride that led to her divorce from Brad Pitt in a cross-complaint in a legal battle surrounding their private French winery.

In accordance with The New York Times, Angelina Jolie said in court on Tuesday that Brad Pitt grabbed her head and shook her on a private flight in 2016, then choked one of their children and hit another. One of their children, who were between the ages of 8 and 15 at the time, verbally defended Jolie, the countersuit says, and Pitt lashed out.

Brad Pitt allegedly poured alcohol on Angelina and the children during a fight on a private jet

Jolie also claims that at some point during a flight from France to California, the Oscar-winning actor poured alcohol on her and the children. The court filing also reportedly featured photos of what appeared to be bruises on Jolie’s elbow and a “burn injury” on her hand.

“Pete lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him. To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself back into the plane seat, injuring Jolie’s back and elbow,” the statement said. “The children rushed and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pete choked one of the kids and punched the other in the face.’

The account of the abuse on the private flight emerged in a cross-complaint filed by Jolie in the couple’s legal battle over the French home and winery they co-own. This legal battle is separate from their ongoing divorce, which she sought shortly after an alleged fight on a private jet.

Brad Pitt’s sources deny allegations of abuse, reports a TMZ report on Wednesday. They claim that the actress is trying to paint him in a negative light amid their legal battles.

Our sources say Angelina’s repeated attempts to paint Brad as a child abuser have taken a toll on their six children, who are now nearly estranged from their father. According to one source, Brad now has a “restricted and strained relationship because of her estrangement campaign.”
