Firefighters are working to find a construction worker who died in a collapsed pit, officials said.

The builder died when he fell into a pit at workand Texas authorities called the incident a “tragic” industrial accident.
On the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 5, the Spring Fire Department’s rescue team and other first responders were called to the warehouse construction site, according to a Facebook post from the department.
The rescuers tried to secure a collapsed pit so they could find the worker’s body as of 1 p.m., officials said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office 4 said the man was found in a trench, without an answer when the deputies arrived, KTRK reports. He was 20 years old.
No other injuries were reported.
