Tom Brady and the Buccaneers leave reason to worry

Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Not a good start to this season. Heading into Week 5, Brady and company are in unfamiliar territory at 2-2.

Tampa Bay won its first two games of the season on the road, vs Dallas and New Orleansbefore throwing the next two houses to Green bay and Kansas City. The Bucs’ next chance to get over .500 will be Sunday vs. Atlanta (1:00 PM ET on FOX) as Brady tries to avoid his first three-game losing streak since 2002.

on Thursday”to speak,” Emmanuel Acho shared his level of concern with Brady after the Bucs’ uneven start.

“I’m worried about Tom Brady,” Acho said. “Why? Because Tom Brady, what are you still doing it for? We know what he’s still doing it for. To win a Super Bowl. We know what else he’s still doing it for. To be the MVP. But it’s not looks like he’s going to have a better MVP season just because of the decimation on the offensive line….Even the Super Bowl looks farfetched because of how much better the AFC teams look right now, so in the world Tom Brady is still doing it, and , more importantly, will he achieve what he’s still working towards?

“I think of the GOATs in every sport. If you wait too long, things never go as planned.”

In his first season with the Bucks in 2020, Brady is off to a 3-1 start. He threw for 1,122 yards and 11 touchdowns — good for a 99.4 passer rating — in those first four games.

Brady once again led the Bucks to a 3-1 start the following season in 2021. He threw for 1,356 yards and 10 touchdowns en route to a 100.3 passer rating through the first four games of the season.

This season is a different story.

Brady has 1,058 passing yards, six scores and a 97.7 passer rating, the lowest in all three categories. What’s more, Brady has just 11 big plays (completions of more than 20 yards) this season, compared to 23 through four games last season and 15 in 2020.

Still, Tampa Bay is in first place in the NFC South and will cement that spot with a win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Brady is 10-0 against the Falcons all-time, including the postseason, so the Bucks should be able to get back on track as they continue to get healthy and find a rhythm this season.

“It made sense to retire in 2020,” Acho continued. “When [Brady] did not want to retire in 2020, then in 2021 – everything was fine. … Then [he wants] Come back?

“I’m just worried because it feels like it could all be for nothing, and it just destroys me as a Tom Brady fan.”
