“Bling Empire” in the third season lacks fun cameosfrom Mila Kunis from Lewis Tan to Chrishel Stause. But one person is the audience were not expect to see? Kelly Mee Lee’s ex-boyfriend Andrew Gray.
In the first episode of the third season, Gray surprises everyone when he shows up to Guy Tang and Almar Guevara’s sixth anniversary party after Anna Shay thinks it’s a good idea. Unfortunately, the result is the complete opposite. “None of us thought in a million years that he would show up, and that Anna especially would bring him… I don’t know what happened,” Mi Lee tells POPSUGAR.
“We were all in shock,” adds Kane Lim. “When Andrew showed up, we said, ‘Are you trying to kill Kelly right now?’ Like, she’s been through so much therapy… I saw her face and I was like, ‘Do you want to put her back to square one again?’ . . . It was a really fun night, but it got really awkward at the end.”
Gray first appeared in the first season of Bling Empire, drawing criticism from viewers about the toxic nature of his relationship with Mi Lee. Mi Lee and Gray were together for five and a half years before announcing their separation in March 2021. “Andrew and I have had some incredible times together over the past 5 and a half years. I have so much respect for them and love for him and will always cherish the memories we made,” Mi Lee wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “However, we have made the difficult decision to officially separate at this stage in our lives.”
When POPSUGAR asked Mi Lee if she and Gray are still talking, she said, “No, not at all. I changed my number.”
The third season of “Bling Empire” is now streaming on Netflix.
