Bartlett will lead the architecture group at BRPH
BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, design and construction firm, has announced the promotion of Rob Bartlett to head of the architectural studio at the firm’s headquarters in Brevard County.
In his new role, Bartlett will lead the local architecture team, providing technical and professional guidance and mentoring, as well as acting as a point of contact for BRPH leadership from the firm’s other disciplines and its eight other US offices, among other responsibilities.
BRPH is headquartered in Palm Shores, just off US 1, just north of the Melbourne city limits.
Bartlett is a registered architect with 25 years of experience in public and private sector projects.
He joined the firm in 2011 and has since expanded his portfolio working across multiple BRPH market sectors including commercial, aerospace, education and entertainment.

Among his recent projects are Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, Heroes & Legends of the US Astronaut Hall of Fame and Forever Remembered at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, as well as the Dockside Inn and Suites at Universal Orlando Resort and the Georgia State Grant Commission’s QuickStart Regional Training Center and investments in Savannah, Georgia.
“Rob is an outstanding architect and natural leader,” said Raul Aviles Jr, BRPH’s president of architecture and engineering. “He has earned the respect of our team and our clients and I am confident he will do an incredible job leading our architecture team in Melbourne as we continue to grow BRPH.”
Commenting on his new position, Bartlett said, “I am excited to expand my interaction with the architectural staff and participate in their professional development, and I look forward to working with the firm’s leadership, including my colleagues in our other offices. I’m optimistic that this will be the start of a great chapter for me and our studio in Melbourne.”
Bartlett is a registered architect in Florida and Georgia. He holds certifications from the American Institute of Architects and the National Board of Architectural Registration Boards.
He received a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from American University.
Since 2018, he has been a member of the board of directors of the American Institute of Space Coast Architects, and in 2019 he served as chapter president.
McNamara has been appointed Dining Manager of the Indian River Colony Club
Ryan McNamara was recently named dining room manager of the Indian River Colony Club, a 55+ golf community for veterans in Viera.
McNamara is now responsible for hiring, training and scheduling all service staff for the privately owned community restaurant, in addition to coordinating the day-to-day staffing requirements and beverage operations.
McNamara will report to the Club Chief Executive and will oversee revenue and operating budgets with an eye on operational efficiency.
“Ryan is already a hit with our IRCC members,” he said Thomas Schonkwiler, manager of IRCC. “He was chosen among 60 other candidates, which speaks volumes for his talent and knowledge. We look forward to the fresh ideas he will bring as the leader of our Dining Services team.”
McNamara was formerly with the US Army Military Police.
He has a master’s degree in business administration.
Based in New Zealand most of his life, McNamara has held several management positions at the prestigious Remuera Golf Club in Auckland.

Certified Mortgage Planners Add Hankal to Staff
Sloan Hankal of Melbourne recently joined Certified Mortgage Planners as a Lending Associate in the firm’s Rockledge office.
Prior to joining the company, Hankal worked at Hamilton Home Mortgage, where she worked as an assistant mortgage loan specialist.
She previously worked for Holiday Builders as a licensed new home sales consultant.
